Gulf Air Updated Fuel/Insurance Surcharges (YQ) from Bahrain
   

 

The YQ surcharge applicable to GF tickets issued on/after 06 October 2010 for travel originating
in Bahrain is summarized below:

per one-way/half round trip journey and BHD 94.000 (or local currency equivalent) per return journey.

The surcharge must be collected and shown as “YQ” in the Tax/Fee/Charge (TFC) Box on the ticket
and must be collected at point of sale. The surcharge is not commissionable and shall accrue to GF.

 

These YQ levels apply to all GF tickets issued on/after 06 October 2010 for travel on/after 06 October
2010 originating in Bahrain, (including PTA’s for tickets for travel originating in Bahrain), all classes, all
fare types (including normal, special, published, unpublished, market, & AD) and all passenger types
(including Children/Infants “INS”). Exception –
refer to Tariff Bulletin No. 325 dated 06 March 2008 for
the YQ applicable to
Infants not occupying a seat “INF”.
